When a staff member requests a holiday through the staff portal the request will need to be approved by a user with the correct permission to complete the process. You can view the requests that need to be approved by selecting the “Unresolved request” icon on the Manage time off request screen.
This will direct you to the Time Off Request list that will show you all the requests from Shops/Sites that you have access to that are not yet approved. Select the Edit Icon to be directed to the “Request Time Off” box where you will be able to view the details of the request and change the status from Requested to Approved.
Key points to remember
- If you have the email request function the email link will direct you to the “Request Time Off Box“ where you can then approve the request.
The same process described can be used to change the status of a time off request from “Requested” to “Under review” or “Declined”.
