Shopworks collects time and attendance information from your facial scanner. This device has an easy to use interface and adding staff onto the device can be done by following this simple process.
There are two types of user levels on the device, Ordinary users and Administrators. Ordinary users are only granted the rights of face verification, while administrators are granted access to the main menu for various operations as well as rights granted to ordinary users.
Press the menu icon on the home screen; this will bring up a list of submenu options.
Thereafter, Select Add user this will bring up a screen for you to add staff details and register a facial scan.
Select User ID and add the staff members employee number and select OK.
Select Name and add the staff members name using the onscreen keyboard, select Enter and close the keyboard using the X.
To complete a facial scan, select Face and ask the staff member to look into the screen and position their eyes into the green box; they will be prompted to do this three times. The device will acknowledge once the action has been successfully completed and it will return the user to the completed Add user screen.
The User access is set to Ordinary as a default setting, if required, access can be changed to administrator level using the User Access icon.
Select Save and registration is now complete.
Please Note: The user ID cannot be modified and in the case of an incorrect employee number being added the staff member will need to be deleted and re-registered using the correct employee number.
Thus, to edit a user’s information or to delete a user select Menu then User mgt. Select a staff member from the user list then delete/edit information any of the highlighted green sections.
