This video shows what to do with daily worklogs that have been changed. Changes can cover a range of amendments like:
- logging a lateness
- changing a shift
- awarding a variation payment
- logging a last minute sickness
- awarding a last minute shift to cover for a sickness
At the end of a week and before payroll cut off all worklogs marked as having been amended/subject to changes need to be confirmed so payroll can process the data.
When changes were made to the worklog, the worklog will display a red triangle with an exclamation mark. Changes can include logging an ad hoc sickness and removing the original shift the staff member was supposed to fulfil or assigning a replacement shift.
If you see the red triangle in the worklog, select View for that day.
Here you find an alert, prompting to re-confirm the worklog again. Select Confirm Worklog.
This will change the worklog's status to Confirmed.
It is important to amend all worklogs to reflect what actually happened on the day, and then confirm the entire worklog.
HR & Payroll use the data from the worklogs.
