This video shows how to navigate the new Menu Tab and its functionalities, i.e. how to minimise the Menu Tab.
If you cannot view the video follow the written instructions below.
Once you log into the workforce management platform you will land on the Dashboard and encounter the Person Icon on the far right as well as the Menu Bar on the far left; these are used to navigate the entire platform.
(1) Person Icon:
Right-click on the person icon in the right-hand corner.
This will bring up and overlay window. Here you can select to (a) Update your Password, (b) FAQ will take you to the support site, where multiple resources for How To instructions are available, and (c) you can Log Out. Please note, that when working on a shared computer/device it is important to log out of the platform when you have completed your actions.
(2) Menu Bar:
The Menu bar on the far left gives access to all further functionalities.
Note, that the functionalities listed in the Menu bar are restricted by user rights. This means that access is given on a need to have basis. For example only payroll employees will have access to payroll. If you think you ought to have access to a functionality that you do not currently have please contact your administrator. This is an employee within your organisation, normally HR or payroll.
The Menu bar is automatically expanded. To minimise it select the triple-striped backwards arrow at the top.
Once minimised you will still be able to select all Menu bar options. Hover over the icons to determine what they are; the grey hover over field will inform you of the functionality. Select the triple-striped button at the top left-hand corner to expand the Menu bar again.
Upon logging in you automatically land on the dashboard. The Dashboard always contains an overview of rota and work log related activity, i.e. rota completion, however, which widgets will be visible to you depends on your user rights. The widget at the bottom for instance, which gives a heads up that a work visa is about to expire, will only be visible to users who need to see it. Normally this consists of HR and payroll.
For further information on the Dashboard widgets please consult the entry "Dashboard Overview".
Selecting Rotas opens the departmental selection. Rotas allow you to plan shifts and staff on a weekly basis.
Please view the support resources [FAQ > General > Rotas] on the support site for an exhaustive set of How To instructions.

(6) Time Off:
Select Time Off to access overviews about time off or make request on behalf of one specific staff member. Unusual time off types are not accessible to all staff and will have to be made on their behalf.
Access a selection of How To resources by navigating to Support > General > Time Off.
Select Reports to access the selection of reports you have access to. Please note, that access to the reports is restricted, and within that the set of reports made available to you may be restricted based on user rights. Reports can contain sensitive data that is shared on a need-to-know-basis only.

Note that this functionality is restricted to need-to-know users only. If you require access to the Payroll functionality contact your company's admin user, normally a member of HR or payroll.
The Training functionality is not used by all companies. If your company is using it, then select the training icon from the menu bar.
This will take you to the administrator side of the staff portal, where you can create courses, upload documentation, and investigate the progress of the courses offered here.
Select Admin from the very bottom of the Menu bar.
The Admin functionality is restricted to the administrator of your company.
