This training video shows how the re-enrol or update the facial scan of an existing user.
The written instructions mirror the training video. Please use the video and written instructions interchangeably.
What is an "Existing User?
An existing user is a member of staff who has previously been enrolled and who is already using the facial scan device to clock in/out of shifts. You will only need to update the facial scan of an existing user if the currently enrolled scan is no longer letting the user clock in/out. This could be the case if the lighting around the scanner has changed drastically.
To re-enrol an existing user you will need:
- The facial scan device. Note, that should you be using multiple devices at your site, and the user has been set up on multiple devices, then you will also want to remove the user from every device individually.
- The metal pen.
- The Super Admin user.
- The user whose scan you wish to update.
How To Steps:
1st Step: The Super Admin user unlocks the device (using his/her facial scan). Select Menu.
2nd Step: The Super Admin user selects User Management.
3rd Step: The Super Admin navigates to the target user. You might have to use the scroll bar on the right-hand side to navigate to your target user. Select the target user's name.
4th Step: The Super Admin selects Face.
5th Step: The user whose face you want to re-enrol needs to register his/her face again. The face will be measured from 3 distances, starting nearest to the device and ending the furthest from it. 6th Step: select Save.
7th Step: Select Exit until you are at the starting screen again.
